![]() ![]() This activity allowed the mothers and daughters the opportunity to explore control issues within their relationship. ![]() The purpose of the activity was to mirror the actions and moves of your partner. Flexibility, both mentally and physically were key components of the exercise. ![]() We enjoyed time together exploring the woods of Oakwood Farms Retreat ![]() Woman united for a weekend to honor the crones. ![]() The ceremony included a proccesional through the garden, dancing, singing and poetry reading. ![]() Representitive of their personal place in life, each woman made a mask. ![]() The first step in the mask-making process was to set the plaster mold. Royda's daughters and grandaughters worked to help create her mask. . ![]() After the mold dried (15-20 minutes), the second step was to carefully lift the mask off the participant's face.. ![]() Decorating the mask became a very personal endevour. ![]() Group process, meditation, music and fellowship completed the weekend. ![]() Each crone had family members or a sponsor to lead her through the final ceremony.
